Fairfield Optimist Soccer Club... A True Soccer Academy

Located in the heart of Fairfield, the Fairfield Optimist Soccer Club (FOSC) draws soccer players from all areas of Greater Cincinnati. Since its inception in 1978, FOSC has aimed to provide youth players with positive experiences and growth opportunities to develop their skills, confidence and personalities for the soccer arena and beyond.

Hosting boys and girls teams from ages U8-U19, FOSC teams participate in the Cardinal Premier League, the Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League (BPYSL), Ohio Soccer State League (OSSL) and the Great Lakes Conference (GLC) of the National league, among others. FOSC also hosts the annual Mid-American Soccer Classic (MASC) tournament each Spring. Since the Fall of 2007, FOSC has hosted The ACADEMY program to introduce children ages 5-8 to soccer in a positive, fun, and professionally administered environment.

In the Spring of 2021, FOSC began a partnership with Morgan Ross Athletic Association (MRAA) to assist in coordinating the Fall and Spring recreational leagues. Through this partnership, FOSC hosts coaching and players clinics for the members of the MRAA recreation program. In the Fall of 2021, FOSC also began running the Fairfield SAY program’s Fall and Spring seasons. The Fairfield SAY program organizes recreational teams for youth in Fairfield and surrounding areas.

FOSC works in cooperation with the Fairfield Optimist Club, a non-profit organization that works with youth in Fairfield, Hamilton, and Indian Springs.
